The machine tool stability requirements of the fiber laser cutting machine are very high. High-precision and high-stability machine tools are conducive to improving the accuracy of laser cutting. The cast iron bed used in this machine has the following characteristics:
1. The casting bed is made of gray cast iron, which has a high carbon content and is not easily deformed by heat.
2. The integrally formed casting bed, after aging treatment, its internal stress is almost negligible, so the stability is extremely high and the accuracy of the machine tool can be maintained for a long time.
3. Compared with the ordinary welding bed, the casting bed is much heavier and the machine vibration is small, so that the machine tool reduces the influence from other reasons and improves the cutting accuracy.
4. The sensitivity of the gap of the cast bed is lower, because the bed will have inevitable accidental gaps during transportation and processing. Due to the material characteristics of the cast iron bed, there will be no change due to the gap, thus further improving the integration of the machine tool stability.
